The majority of the novels and plays we will be covering are listed here for reference.  Keep in mind you will have access to most of them through either school copies or coverage in your AP Literature book or the standard 12th grade Elements of Literature text.

Any works needing to be purchased separately will be indicated well in advance.  As always, it may be to your advantage to purchase individual copies for purposes of annotation and close textual reading.  Do not mark up the school copies to the extent I would like you to...trust me, Coral Park would not be happy.

'Suggested Reading' lists titles that you may want to read for fun (yes, "fun reading" exists.)  These titles have been certified as "they don't suck" by former students and involve themes and meaning appropriate to both this course and choices on the AP exam as well.  If you're into side reading, try out some of these suggestions.
